North Andover Town Clerk To Continue Taking Passport Apps
The Library was scheduled to take over passport applications this month, but will not be able to, the town announced.
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover Town Clerk's office will continue accepting passport applications, the town announced Thursday. The Stevens Memorial Library was scheduled to become the town's only place to apply for a passport next week, but that become impossible "due to unforeseen circumstances," according to the announcement. Passport applications will be accepted by appointment only.
Appointments will be available 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday. Residents must contact Town Clerk's office at 978-688-9501 to schedule an appointment. Appointments are not available Feb. 24 to March 3.
There are a number of places in nearby towns to apply for a passport, however, including the post offices in Boxford, Andover and Lawrence. Search for other passport application locations here. If you need a passport for international travel within two weeks, there is a passport agency in Boston.
