Phil DeCologero Best Choice for State Rep

To the editor:

I have worked with Phil DeCologero on the North Andover Democratic Town Committee for the past few years, and he is absolutely one of the most dedicated, energetic and involved citizens I have ever met.

Our committee seeks to engage voters and educate the community about the issues impacting our schools, families and businesses. Phil is in the forefront of everything we do, always lending his hand to candidates or important causes, and encouraging others to do the same. At times, we have been on opposite sides of an issue, but regardless of where we stand, Phil is always respectful of others and thoughtful in his opinions.

When I was first approached to take on a greater role on the Town Committee, I hesitated. I was a busy parent with a lot on my plate and other volunteer commitments, but Phil inspired me to say yes. He always says yes to helping out, to making phone calls or going door to door for candidates and causes that matter to him. His commitment inspired me to do more to serve my community.

That, to me, is the sign of a natural leader. Phil not only gets involved, but his passion for responsible government and his community inspires others to be active and want to make a difference. I know Phil will be a leader we can trust to effectively deliver for our region.

Phil DeCologero will make an outstanding state representative. I have seen him work tirelessly on behalf of others, and I believe he will bring to the Statehouse that same passion, energy and commitment that he brings to every job and project he tackles. Please join me in voting for him as our Democratic nominee.
