Edible Mushrooms of Boston's North Shore with Dugie Russell

October 14, 2014 at St. Michael's Parish Hall, Main St., North Andover at 7:00 pm.

The North Andover Garden Club presents “Edible Mushrooms of Boston’s North Shore” with Dugie Russell, to be held at St. Michael‘s Parish Hall, Main St..  Dugie has been hunting, eating, and selling wild mushrooms for over thirty years.  Walking through the woods, cemeteries, fields, and people’s backyards and coming up with a delicious meal for the low price of nothing is a great feeling.  Learn how to identify our local mushrooms during the peak mushroom season!

The North Andover Garden Club, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, whose mission is to further the civic beautification of North Andover, horticulture, flower arranging, and conservation, was founded in 1920.  With an excellent array of programs and activities from September to June, the garden club offers hands-on workshops and monthly programs, which are free and open to all.  For more information, email northandovergardenclub@yahoo.com, or visit the garden club's website: www.northandovergardenclub.com.
