Practical and Effective Strategies for Students with Anxiety Presented by Jessica Minahan, M.Ed., BCBA
Join us May 13 for a presentation on "Practical and Effective Strategies for Students with Anxiety" with guest speaker Jessica Minahan.

On Wednesday, May 13, Jessica Minahan, M.Ed., BCBA, special educator, and author of The Behavior Code and The Behavior Code Companion, will discuss how children with anxiety present in the classroom and effective strategies for supporting them. 6-8pm, NAMS Cafe B.
This is a free program open to the community.
Jessica Minahan is a board-certified behavior analyst & special educator& director of Behavioral Services at NESCA-Newton (MA), as well as a school consultant to clients nationwide (www.jessicaminahan.com). Jessica has over 16 years of experience supporting students who exhibit challenging behavior in urban public school settings. She is the author of The Behavior Code: A Practical Guide to Understanding and Teaching the Most Challenging Students, with Nancy Rappaport (Harvard Education Press, 2012) and The Behavior Code Companion: Stategies, Tools, and Interventions for Supporting Students with Anxiety-Related or Oppositional Behaviors. (Harvard Education Press, 2014)
