Rockland Trust Appoints Eight Senior Mortgage Lending Officers

Expands Mortgage Banking Service to the North Shore and Merrimack Valley

Rockland, Mass. (June 22, 2015) – Rockland Trust today announced that the Mortgage Banking division has appointed eight new Senior Loan Officers. The new officers include John Arvanitis, Corliss Blanchard, Lourdes Connolly, Richard Farley, Jr., Robert Misner, Leslie Torres-Arias, Hai Vo, and Blair Wellbeloved. They will work with homebuyers to help them through the purchase and financing process, offering a variety of programs to find the loan that best fits their needs.

John Arvanitis

John Arvanitis joins Rockland Trust from Peoples Federal Savings Bank and serves homebuyers in the Allston/Brighton area looking to purchase new property or refinance their home. Peoples Federal was acquired by Rockland Trust in February 2015. Previously John served as loan officer at TD Bank and Eastern Bank.

Corliss Blanchard

Corliss is located in Rockland Trust’s Franklin Lending Center. She has been a residential Mortgage Loan Officer for 25 years serving the community with first-time homebuyer classes, providing pre-qualification appointments, purchase loans, and refinances. She spent the majority of her career with Citizens Bank, Santander, and more recently Bank of America. Previously a realtor with a broker license and G.R.I. designation in Rhode Island, she was a Rhode Island Monthly magazine Five-Star Mortgage Professional in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Lourdes Connolly

Lourdes Connolly joins Rockland Trust with nearly 20 years of experience in home lending to consumers. She serves the Brockton and some areas of the Boston markets. Lourdes is experienced in working with first-time buyers and in partnering with nonprofit affordable housing organizations to provide educational seminars on the home-buying process for low- to moderate-income homebuyers. Prior to joining Rockland Trust she worked for Eastern Bank, TD Bank, Bank of America, and First Horizon. Lourdes resides in Easton with her husband and son.

Rick Farley

Rick Farley has nearly 20 years of residential mortgage experience helping homebuyers throughout Massachusetts, particularly in the Cape Cod area. Rick has been in the banking business for over 35 years. Previously he worked at PrimeLending, MetLife Home Loans, and First Horizon Home Loans, as well as at Cape Cod Bank and Trust, and Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank. Based in Hyannis, Rick will be covering Rockland Trust branches from Hyannis to the Lower Cape, as well as maintaining his existing relationships with clients throughout Cape Cod. He resides in West Barnstable with his wife of 30 years and their son.

Robert Misner

Robert Misner has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage lending. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, he served as mortgage loan officer at Sovereign Bank and Bank of America, and was a loan consultant at Mortgage Financial Inc. Robert serves communities in the North Shore region, including Malden, Medford, and Everett. He lives in Everett.

Leslie Torres-Arias

Leslie Torres-Arias joins Rockland Trust with 15 years of experience in helping hundreds of homebuyers in achieving the American dream. Previously she was a senior loan officer at RBS/Citizens Bank, Sovereign Bank, and Bank of America. She specializes in working with first-time homebuyers and will serve the Merrimack Valley from her office in Lawrence. Leslie lives in Lawrence with her husband and two sons.

Hai Vo

Hai Vo comes to Rockland Trust from Bank of America where he worked as a Loan Officer for the past 10 years. Based in the bank’s Medford lending center, he serves homebuyers in the Greater Boston areas of Cambridge, Medford, Somerville, Norwood, and Westwood – as well as Quincy. Hai specializes in working with first-time homebuyers and partnering with Boston area housing groups on educational seminars and workshops. He currently resides in Braintree.

Blair Wellbeloved

With 15 years in the mortgage banking industry, Blair Wellbeloved has extensive experience in structuring a wide range of loan types, including FHA, VA, Conventional, Conforming, Jumbo, Home Path, Mass Housing, Bridge Loans and Refinances. Based in the Falmouth mortgage office, Blair serves customers in the Cape Cod region. He previously worked at Ever Bank, and resides in Cotuit with his wife and three children.
