Subdivision, ADU Proposal On North Andover Planning Board Agenda

The board is scheduled to meet Tuesday night.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA — The North Andover Planning Board is set to review a proposed four-lot subdivision, a request related to an accessory dwelling unit, and several other development matters at its meeting Tuesday night.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at North Andover Town Hall.

One item on the agenda is an Approval Not Required (ANR) plan for 169 Chestnut St. The applicant is proposing to subdivide the property into four buildable lots.

The board will also consider a request from the same applicant to release a site opening bond and performance bond associated with a previously approved three-lot subdivision known as Lydia Lane at 166, 170, and 180 Salem St.

A new public hearing is scheduled for 200 Bridle Path, where the applicants are seeking a Watershed Special Permit to allow additions to an existing single-family home to accommodate an accessory dwelling unit. The proposal includes minor driveway expansion and site improvements.

Board members are also expected to discuss zoning bylaw amendments that could appear on the Annual Town Meeting warrant. Those include changes related to accessory dwelling units and site plan review requirements.

Other agenda items include a requested change to the previously approved Stonecleave Estates development, discussion of clean energy siting and permitting requirements, and a proposal to expand parking at 11 Marbleridge Road from 35 spaces to 68 spaces.

The board is also scheduled to hear from Save North Andover Wildlife regarding two citizen petition articles related to banning rodenticides.
