Swastikas Found Across Methuen In Apparent Vandalism Spree: PD
Multiple incidents of vandalism were reported throughout the city.

METHUEN, MA — Police are investigating after multiple swastikas were found spray painted in locations across Methuen Sunday. There were several reports of vandalism Sunday, Police Chief Joseph Solomon said. Officers responded to find swastikas on multiple vehicles and a property sign. Police found another vehicle vandalizes with a vulgar word.
"No matter the intent, swastika imagery represents hatred and bigotry and there is no place for that in our community," Solomon said. "We are thoroughly investigating and working with the community to identify who is responsible so that they can be held accountable."
The vandalized vehicles were found on Temple Drive, Bridle Path, and Deborah Avenue, while the sign was at the intersection of West Street and Varnai Street. A fence on Sevoian Drive was also damaged, police said.
