Town Of North Andover Board Of Selectmen Is Looking To Fill A Vacancy On Conservation Commission
The Commission typically meets at 7:00PM on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month.

The Board of Selectmen is looking to fill a vacancy on the Conservation Commission. The duties of the Conservation Commission are implementing the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the North Andover Wetlands Protection Bylaw, laws that require landowners and project proponents to file with the Commission whenever their activities occur in or in close proximity to rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, oceans, bays, estuaries, wetlands, beaches, dunes, floodplains and riparian areas. Familiarity with and of the following disciplines is desirable in a candidate: engineering, botany, wetland and soil science, stormwater management, environmental law, construction, hydrology, land protection principles and open space/land management.
