“We’ve been open for a year and a half now,” said Arthur Lacerda, of the North Andover edition of Tripoli.
The Tripoli experience begins with its unique pizza that many dub “beach style.”

“It’s a Sicilian style pizza,” Lacerda clarified.
“It’s a square pizza with white cheddar cheese and tomato sauce,” he continued. “All of the pizzas we sell are on a tray of 20 and they’re all square, Sicilian style.”
The fresh, Sicilian pie is getting some rave reviews, partially due to its tangy tomato sauce.
Feel free to customize your pie; pepperonis and extra cheese are popular additions. Extra cheese in the forms of provolone, American, and grated cheese are among the most popular options.
Like many other Italian bakeries, Tripoli offers a selection of hearty pies such as its Italian Spinach Pie.
Pizza is only the beginning for Tripoli, as many different types of fresh breads are baked on the regular.
They have Italian Scala bread, Italian bread sticks, Italian buns and round rolls baked fresh every single day of the year.
It doesn’t stop there. Snowflake rolls, Italian Vienna, Italian whole wheat, Cuccidata, Pagnotti, and Panini breads are all warm and ready to be filled with sandwich materials or eaten right at the counter.
Don’t forget the sweets! The bakery treats are a huge draw at Tripoli.
“We have cheesecake, tiramisu and we also have the canolis,” commented Lacerda.
Assorted Italian cookies are always on display. Cherry macaroons, chocolate Florentine cookies, fig filled cookies, orange spritzers, chocolate pretzels, green pistachio leaves, and raspberry bowties are just a few of the heavenly sweets that Tripoli bakes.
You won’t be disappointed by the pastry department. Chocolate cream tarts, walnut brownies, strawberry tarts, Rum Babas, and lemon tarts are among the delicious deserts you can treat yourself to.
