VIDEO: Bruins Dev-Camp Players Read at Stevens Memorial
Seven future Bruins were in North Andover yesterday as part of the Bruins Summer Reading Program.
Yesterday afternoon at , seven Boston Bruins development camp players stopped by to read with, play with, and sign autographs for dozens of young hockey fans.
As part of the Bruins Summer Reading Program, When You Read, You Score, players engaged in various activities for a couple of hours with North Andover youngsters.
Players held a trivia contest, read to kids, did arts and crafts, played outside, and had an autograph session at the library.

The theme of this year’s summer reading program is “One World, Many Stories.”
The Bruins’ prospects read books and did activities that reflected the culture that they grew up in.

The day culminated with an autograph session and a raffle in which one lucky kid won a hockey stick autographed by current Bruins player Tyler Seguin.
The players that took part in the event were Lars Volden, Steven Spinell, Tyler Randell, Alexander Khokhlachev, Alexander Fallstrom, Tommy Cross, and Edmonton, Alberta native, Ryan Button.
“The kids were great and we had a lot of fun today,” said Button.
