VIDEO: North Andover East Edges Parkway American
Last night in Saugus, North Andover East won game one of the little league state tourney.
In game one of the little league ten year-old state championship tournament, overcame a 3-1 deficit to beat Parkway American 5-3.
Parkway American, an all star team out of West Roxbury, is the defending stat e champion.

They went ahead 3-1in the bottom of the fourth inning with a rally that bounced starter Sebastian Keane out of the game.
pitched three and 2/3 innings and was on the hook for the loss until the top of the fifth.

North Andover East got a sacrifice fly from Keane to make it 3-2. Then Jake McElroy stole his way from first base all the way home to tie the game at three. A base hit by Joe Phinney scored Tom Finn and East took a 4-3 lead.
In the sixth inning, Matt Agri would score on a base hit to give East an insurance run.
Jake McElroy pitched two scoreless innings in relief and Joe Phinney picked up the save.
North Andover East takes the field at Grabowski Field in Saugus tomorrow in game two of the tourney against Agawam. First pitch will be at 7:00.
