At Deyermond Field in Andover, the little leaguers of North Andover West and Andover National played a little home run derby of their own as the teams combined for six homers in the game.

North Andover West fell 15-5 yesterday to in the District 14 12 year-old semifinals.

North Andover took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first when Chris Fulgione knocked a three run bomb.

Zach Wolfgang got the start for North Andover but could not record an out.

Andover National responded by scoring five runs in the bottom of the first to take a two run lead.

The top of the second saw North Andover West tie the game with a two run home run by Will Berberich.

That would be as close as West would get to the District 14 finals as Andover National scored the next 10 runs to put the mercy rule into effect.

The top of the fifth inning saw North Andover West load the bases, but they could not push a run home.

It was a two run home run by Mike Reilly in the bottom of the fifth that ended the game and the season for North Andover West.
