19-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Fleeing from Cops After Smashing Mailboxes

Mass. State Police K9s help locate a woman who fled from police.

A Northborough woman is facing charges of leaving the scene of property damage and then fleeing from police, after she took off following a mailbox smashing. 

Nicole Lawlor Boullianne, 19, 215 South St., was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, and charged with leaving the scene of property damage, marked lanes violation, failure to stop for police. 

A Rice Ave. resident had called police, reporting that someone in a dark-colored vehicle struck a couple of mailboxes on the street. The person said that a passenger in the car got out to look at the damage, and then left, said police.

Officers located the car, with two people inside, at the scene. When they saw the cruiser, they fled into the nearby woods. Massachusetts State Police K9s tracked down Boullianne, who was hiding behind an air conditioner at a residence on Edmunds Way. The other person was still in the vehicle.
