Public Health Week Programs Announced

April is Public Health Month and Northborough HHS has planned various programs to celebrate.

Northborough Health and Human Services is celebrating National Public Health Week April 6-12.

View the list of events. Here are the highlights:

  • Food Pantry Collection: Toiletries/Personal Hygiene Items all month long! Drop off locations are Town Hall, Northborough Free Library. Allure Hair Spa (299 West Main St.), and Central One Federal Credit Union (148 Main St.)
  • 4/6 Free Narcan Training, 12-1 PM at the Northborough Library. Register.
  • 4/6: Pelvic Health 101 Workshop taught by a Pelvic Floor PT at 7:30 PM at Westborough Fire Dept. Register.
  • 4/7: Celebrate Public Health Lunch and Learn with HHS Director Isabella Caruso at 12 PM. Register for the Zoom link.
  • 4/7: Understanding Teen Depression Webinar at 6-7:30 PM. Register.
  • 4/15: 2nd Annual Wellness Fair at Northborough Library featuring over 15 local health and wellness resources, free BP checks, hands-free CPR demos and more! Learn more.
  • 4/21: Words of Wellness Book Club (Educated by Tara Westover) at the Northborough Library, 6-7 PM. Register.
  • 4/22: Blood Mobile. Only a few more spots available. Register.
