Big Benefit at JJ's for the 15-40 Connection
Killer Queen reunites to join a host of others to raise money for cancer research.

More than five bands, raffles, a race car ... and a whole lot of enthusiasm ... make up a mega-benefit to raise money for cancer research on Sunday, April 7, from noon until closing at JJ's Sports Bar and Grill.
The event raises money for the 15-40 Connection, which, works to "empower individuals with knowledge that will save and improve lives through early cancer detection." With a focus on early detection, 15-40 points out that "cancer survival rates in teens and young adults (ages 15 to 40) have barely improved since 1975 in a large part because a delay in diagnosis allows time for cancer to progress to more advanced stages." Learn more about the cause here.
An incredible lineup of bands propels the day through sets of cover tunes, blues, rock, and a tribute to Queen with a rare reunion of Killer Queen. Other bands include Probable Cause, the Allens, The Brit Wits, No Alibi, the Tony Soul Project and The Flock. Rob Fuller and his racecar will also be here.
According to the Facebook page, the event includes food and drink specials, raffles and prizes, and a chance to win a 60-inch Aquos HDTV (tickets are available now at JJ's).
