Cop Log: Warrant Arrest; Possible B&E; A Motorbike That Smells Like Gas

The following are excerpts from the Northborough police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Aug. 6

At 3:47 a.m., a resident of Hudson Street reported an odor of gasoline in the house. It was coming from a motorized bicycle (a motorcycle, perhaps?) in the garage. At 11:22 a.m., police respond to a report of larceny by check, Northborough Crossing At 11:35 a.m., police respond to larceny by check, Shops Way At 11:42 a.m., a broken window at a Belmont Street company was reported. Possible B&E. At 12:53 p.m., police responded to a verbal domestic situation. One female transported to Marlborough. At 1:13 p.m., police responded to keep the peace during employee termination At 4:37 p.m., Shrewsbury police reported a two-car MVA on Belmont Street AT 5:31 P.M., Police reported a three-car MVA with no injuries, Church Street

Friday, Aug. 8

At 6:46 a.m., police served a warrant to a woman, Southwest Cutoff. One female in custody. Cheryl A Rios, 49, 24 San Jose Terrace, Stoneham, was arrested. At 9:36 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a mulch fire, Shops Way At 11:37 a.m., police respond to past larceny from MV, Avalon Drive At 1:36 p.m., police respond to “accident report by mail” on South Street At 4:11 p.m., there was a two-car MVA on Southwest CutoffAt 5:55 p.m., police received a report that a son has not been home since Wednesday, Crestwood Drive. The son is now home.
