A man was transported to the hospital after being struck from behind by a car on Route 20, said Northborough police.
On Tuesday, Aug. 19, around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a call about a crash in the area of 100 Southwest Cutoff. They found a male who had been riding his bicycle in the breakdown lane had been struck from behind by the operator of a Volvo station wagon.
The cyclist was brought by ambulance to the hospital.
