Dana Farber's Mammography Van is coming to town

Northborough is welcoming the Dana Farber's Mammography Van on Thursday, May 21 from 7 AM-3:15 PM. It will be parked in the Northborough Free Library located at 34 Main Street (parking lot is accessible via Patty Lane). Pre-registration required. You can also call 617-632-1974 or email mammo_van@dfci.harvard.edu. The American College of Radiology recommends a mammogram every year if you are age 40 or older. Upon registration, your insurance information will be taken and billed. If you are uninsured, you can still schedule an appointment and will be connected to a financial counselor. Other notes: -Will provide 3D Mammography
-Expect the process to take about 20 minutes. The van does require climbing a few steps.
-No referral or PCP is needed
-Results will be received via postal mail or through the Patient Gateway and can be shared with your PCP or GYN
-If additional imaging is required, they will help facilitate next steps.
The Dana Farber's Mammography Van possesses a valid license and certificate of inspection issued by the MA Dept. of Public Health.
