The adult summer reading program at the Northborough Free Library is under way! Our aim is to read 80 books as a group this summer. We hope to read books that take place all over the world. Our next event, Book Chat: Now It's Your Turn, will take place July 19th at 7 p.m. in the Library Internet Café. We will all share our thoughts about the books we are reading in a round-table format. Our summer reading program will conclude with Eating Around the World on August 11th at 6 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. Participants are invited to sign up to bring appetizers and desserts from countries they have visited through their reading.
All adults are invited to join in the fun! You can register online at www.readsinma.org/northborough (click on Novel Destinations), or by contacting the Adult Services Department at 508-393-5025 x5 or e-mailing reference@northboroughlibrary.org. You can participate even if you cannot attend meetings by logging your reading online or with the Adult Services staff.
The adult summer reading program at the Northborough Free Library is sponsored by the Friends of the Northborough Free Library, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
