The SOS Feeding Program

The SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Feeding Program is a low stress, non-invasive developmental approach focusing on increasing a child's comfort level by exploring and learning about the different properties of food; such as texture, taste, smell, and consistency. This workshop will discuss the different factors involved in evaluating and managing children with feeding/growth problems. Handouts will include a list of red flags to watch for in a child who may be appropriate for a feeding evaluation.

This workshop is appropriate for occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech therapist, counselors, educators, health care professional and parents.
