As with most government institutions, budgets were hampered by shrinking funds. The board felt he showed confidence and reasoned understanding when dealing with board members. They also thought he should be commended for lobbying state legislators to minimize cuts in educational spending.
Gobron's day to day schedule includes meetings with district employees, school boards, students, parents, community leaders and the press as well as all the various paperwork he needs to oversee. Northborough felt he had done a great job with all of this. They said in conclusion, that they were happy to have him as their superintendent.
