has $6.99 weekday lunch specials and is now serving some unique, cold-weather treats. At $4.50 a pint, Young's Chocolate Stout is the latest beer on tap. The new dessert menu is tempting too. How does carrot cake and turtle cheesecake sound? Check out its new, additional Facebook page listing daily lunch and dinner specials. Don't forget to visit its original page too.

asked readers what their weekend food plans looked like on its Facebook page. Reader Richelle Rogers answered, "Cranberry orange bread from your bakery! ABSOLUTELY the BEST BREAD I have had in a long time! Please never stop making it!" Caroline Wainwright explained that she and her kids will be driving 45 minutes to Wegmans on Saturday, "My kids love your Asian buffet and your pizza!"

What the heck is Beef on weck? Well, Margo Romanowski is going to recreate the Rochester, N.Y. sandwich favorite, she commented on Facebook. The Northborough Wegmans is co-sponsoring "Charity Day Halftime Buffet", including Beef on weck, at The Harp in Boston Sunday. All proceeds from the meal go to charity.
