Happy Hoop Campers at Assabet Valley

As summer winds down, the second week of the FUNdamental Basketball Camp held at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School gave area hoopsters one more shot at honing their skills, learning new techniques, and meeting fellow basketball players from around the area.

Coach Frank Ferreer, Assabet’s very successful girls’ hoops coach, enjoyed the good weather and the camaraderie of the campers.

“They come each year to try to learn something new, get more practice, and, let’s face it, to get out and do something a little
different with their time. I see a lot of repeat campers, and certainly hope that many of them will choose to attend Assabet when the time comes,” he added.
