LOG: Man from Maine Arrested with Gun, Silencer, and Ammo

The Northborough Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests

Derek Jay Marineau, 29, of Wells, Maine, was arrested at 8:50 a.m. on April 10, and charged with OUI liquor, carrying a firearm without a license, possession a silencer, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of ammunition without a FID/license to carry, and carrying a firearm while under the influence. Police were called to East Main Street for a report of a resident complaining that an ex-boyfriend was at the home. Marineau was later transported to the hospital and arrested and charged there.

  • 2:21 a.m. Firefighters assisted a person on South Street with medical attention.
  • 7:13 a.m. A motor vehicle crash was reported on Hudson Street. There were no injuries reported.
  • 8:41 a.m. A Pleasant Street resident reported finding keys and turned them into police.
  • 11:26 a.m. A person from Shops Way reported a past hit-and-run.
  • 3:54 p.m. An Otis Street resident reported a false alarm.
  • 4:46 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported from Howard Street.

  • 12:50 a.m. Police assisted firefighters with a medical call on Main Street.
  • 10:35 a.m. Police and Firefighters were called to South Street for a false alarm.
  • 1:42 p.m. A person reportedly the larceny of scrap metal from Colburn Street.
  • 2:33 p.m. A Whitney Street resident reported a credit card fraud incident.
  • 4:21 p.m. Police were called to Howard Street for a report of a man trespassing on property.
  • 4:48 p.m. An alarm activation was reported on Lyman Street.
  • 5:08 p.m. Police were called to West Main Street for a plate attachment report but it was dealer error and the issue was resolved.
  • 6:24 p.m. A Hudson Street resident reported receiving several calls from a rude man.
  • 8:23 p.m. Police and firefighters were called to Main Street to assist with a medical call.
