Lovable Liam Presented With Upper Deck Hockey Card

Fist bumping sensation Liam Fitzgerald was honored with his own hockey card by the Bruins.

We all remember Liam Fitzgerald, the lovable Bruins fan from Northborough who became an internet sensation with the fist-bumping video shared thousands of times on social media.

The eight-year-old, who has Down Syndrome, also battled Leukemia and has a #BumpOutCancer fundraiser and initiative to get voted the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Man of the Year.”

He was also voted USA Today’s “Fan of the Year” in 2014.

Now, he’s got his smiling face on an Upper Deck hockey card, which was recently presented to him in front of fans at a game.

“He’s beaming,” said the announcer. “He’s as much of an inspiration to him as they are to him.”
