Make Reservations: Top Valentine's Day Restaurant Picks
Northborough Patch picks five great places to bring your love on Valentine's Day.
The day for sweeties and sweets is coming, and of course one of the most popular ways to say "I love you" comes out in the form of a nice dinner, served and cooked by someone else.
Local restaurants are gearing up for Love Day and have specials and reservations that await you.
Here are Northborough Patch's top five for Valentine's Day dinner.

- : Usually, this restaurant isn't open on Mondays, but will be this Monday. The Bistro is taking reservations for Friday, Saturday and Monday, when they will not only have the regular menu, but seven Valentine's Day specials. Also, Rich Demare (who is a producer at Kiss 108) is singing "Sinatra and stuff like that" from 7-11 p.m. all three nights. Reservations are quickly filling. Click on the link and make the call.
- This American bistro with "southern flare" by Chef Richard Romaine still has availability on Friday 5-10 p.m., Sunday 5-8 p.m.and Monday 5-9 p.m. Saturday is full at this time (except for a few late night spots). For Valentine's Day there will be "more creativity and more specials on the menu."
- : recently in Northborough Patch, Yama Zakura specializes in sushi and Asian fusion cuisine, and is a wonderful way to treat your special one to something unique on Valentine's Day. Call 508-393-4187 for reservations.
- Decorated to the hilt for Valentine's Day, the Steakloft is a place to bring your sweetheart. Specials include a surf and turf, glasses of wine and dessert for two for $49.95, and remind you not to forget the "famous prime rib." Dinner, which includes "specials all weekend," is 4-11 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Entertainment on Friday night by Dave Garden.
- Celebrating throughout the weekend, there are Valetine's specials, which include seafood with lobster and shrimp, surf and turf, homemade desserts (including the brand new canolli ice cream) and others to be announced by Chef Arlene Andre. The hours are the same as usual, and reservations are recommended.
