NORTHBOROUGH, MA -- David L. Parenti was appointed as Northborough’s fire chief, effective Jan. 11.
The Northborough Board of Selectmen unanimously appointed Parenti to the position, reported the Boston Globe. Parenti comes from a position of fire chief in Belmont, NH.
Parenti replaces longtime chief David Durgin, who retired.
