Northborough Board of Health Seeks Volunteers

The Board of Health could use your help, and expertise.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA —A search is underway for volunteers to serve on the Board of Health.

According to a post on the town's site, candidates should possess a public health or environmental health background.

The Board of Health is a five member board that is responsible for protecting the public health of the community by adopting relevant local health regulations and by carrying out preventative programs. The Board is also responsible for enforcing local and state health, sanitary and environmental codes.

Generally, the Board of Health meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Town Hall. For any other questions about the Board of Health, citizens may contact Health Agent Stephanie Bacon at 508-393-5009.
