Northborough Man Charged With Striking 7-Year-Old With Belt

A Northborough man faces assault charges after he allegedly struck a seven-year-old with a leather belt. 

Enilton Lisboa, 34, of 156 East Main St., was arrested on June 24 after police were called of complaints that he had struck the girl three times on her left thigh. 

Lisboa assaulted the girl after she had gone upstairs to her mother's bedroom, and woke him up in the process and he became angry, said police. 

Lisboa faces charges of assault and battery on a child under 14, and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
