Otis Street to be Closed for 'At Least Three Weeks'

Otis Street is closed to through traffic at Hop Brook (75 Otis St) until further notice, the DPW announced on the Northbrough Police Department’s Facebook page.

Detailed inspections by the Public Works Department and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) indicates that sections of the existing structure that cross over Hop Brook may not support traffic.

For a period of at least three weeks, Otis Street will be closed “in order to adequately assess options for long-term closure, lane restrictions or temporary bridging.”
