Police Respond to Shoplifting, Stolen Wheelbarrow, Driveway Rollover, Turtle in Road

Incidents, Friday, May 30

12:08 a.m.: Medical call on Gates Lane

3:33 a.m.: Clinton PD requesting a check of the business for a person who works as a cleaner with a warrant out of their town, Shops Way. MA PC 75DE85 at business, one in custody.

6:11 a.m.: Police respond to a medical call on West Main Street

8:06 a.m.: Assist health department, cancelled while on scene, Brigham Street

10:17 a.m.: Report of struck turtle in roadway, Main Street. Highway Dept notified.

10:50 a.m.: Medical call, Shops Way

12:21 p.m.: Police respond to car fire on Fernbrook Road

3:03 p.m. Medical call, West Main Street

3:10 p.m.: Two car accident, no injuries, Southwest Cutoff. McFee Newton requested for two tows

3:23 p.m.: Male shoplifter took off on foot, Shops Way. Shrewsbury Police called to assist.  One male in custody.

4:49 p.m.: Medical call, West Main Street

5:22 p.m.: Resident on Lyman Street reports a stolen wheelbarrow

7:32 p.m.: Vehicle rolled over in the driveway, Monument Drive. McFee/Newton had already been contacted by the owner of the vehicle.

11:12 p.m.: One male in custody for warrant, Main Street.  Mcfee Newton called for tow.

Arrests:

May 30, 3:43 a.m.: William J. Cole, 55 90 Sterling St., Apt: 148, West Boylston, arrested and charged with failing to register as a sex offender, Shops Way

May 30, 4:08 p.m.: Andrew Thomas Lauder, 25, 530 Pleasant St., Leicester, arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation

May 30, 5:36 p.m.: Michael J Diterlizzi, 50, Homeless, arrested on a warrant for violating a restraining order
