Police: Suspicious Man Approached Kids at Basketball Court

Northborough police are alerting residents of a suspicious incident that happened on Saturday evening.

Around 7:30 p.m., a group of kids were playing basketball at the Proctor Elementary School on Jefferson Road, according to the alert.

A man, described as possibly of Middle Eastern or Indian descent, drove up to the group and asked if anyone needed a ride. The man lingered for a few minutes and then drove away, said the alert.

His vehicle was described as a tan or gold minivan with Massachusetts license plates. No other information was obtained. If anyone has any information about this incident, call the Northborough Police Department at 508-393-1515.
