It’s time to think about what to serve (and eat) to accompany that turkey on Thanksgiving, and Assabet Valley will once again make the decisions difficult, but the preparation easy.

Whether you are considering pies, cakes, whoopee pies, cookies, coffee cakes, cupcakes, dinner rolls, or cheesecake, or all of the above, the Epicurean Restaurant at Assabet should be your first and last stop. The annual pre-Thanksgiving Bake Sale will once again be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25, with the doors opening at 9 a.m.

The sale will end at 1 p.m.….or when everything is gone, whichever comes first. Items will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. As usual, the school will be saving large boxes between now and then to help everyone carry their goodies to the car. Whether the feast is at your home or you are doing the trek over the river and through the woods to see family, scrumptious baked goods are always welcome.

The restaurant is located at the rear of the school at 215 Fitchburg Street, Marlborough, and has its own parking lot, including handicap accessible parking.
