The Northborough Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 7:30 PM. The evening’s program is, “Seasonal Colonial Cooking” presented by Kevin Stavely and Kathleen Fitzgerald.

If you think traditional New England cooking is little more than baked beans and clam chowder, think again. These acclaimed authors will serve up a delicious feast of information and interesting recipes from our colonial ancestors.

Husband and wife scholars, Stavely and Fitzgerald, co-wrote Founding Food: The Story of New England Cooking and Northern Hospitality: Cooking by the Book in New England.
