Southborough Couple Hosted Another Underage Drinking Party: PD
Police were called to the home in May for another underage drinking party when a teen had to be rushed to the hospital.
SOUTHBOROUGH, MA — A Southborough couple will be facing a Westborough judge for a second time after police broke up an underage drinking party at their home. This is the second time this year that the couple was caught hosting an underage drinking party.
On Saturday, Southborough police were called to Amandeep and Manpreet Khurana's home on Lynbrook Road for a report of underage drinking. The couple allowed police inside the home to check it. Police said they found at least 20 youths on the patio and 60-70 more were seen running from the basement toward Main Street.
There was an overwhelming smell of alcohol in the house and several large bottles of vodka were in found in the basement, according to police. Officers were able to stop seven of the teens — all from Northborough and Southborough — and released them to their parents.

The Khuranas were caught in this same situation just five months ago, when police were called to the home for another party involving underage drinking. During the May incident police were called for a report of someone who was sick and intoxicated — one teen was taken to Marlborough hospital by Southborough Rescue crews.
The May charge was dismissed.

The couple faces charges according to the state's Social Host law. Under the law, knowingly or intentionally supplying minors with alcohol is illegal and can result in fines of up to $2,000 or imprisonment, or both. The state's Social Host law applies to parents homes, properties they own and hotel rooms they rent for underage teens.
