Student Gets $100 Ticket for Smoking Pot on the Bus

A student was slapped with a $100 civil ticket by Northborough police after smoking marijuana on the bus on the way to school last week, said police.

The 14-year-old boy was contfronted by school administrators and surrendered a wooden marijuana vaporizer that contained a small amount of the drug in it, said police.

"It is a small wooden box with a bowl for the marijuana and a small heating element that heats the marijuana with little or no smoke," explained Lt. Bill Lyver.
