Superintendent Hopes to Appoint New Peaslee Principal This Month

Superintendent of Schools Charles Gobron hopes to hire a new principal by the end of the month.

Scott Bazydlo, principal of the will be gone as of July 1, and starting his new position as principal of the Russell Street School in Littleton.

Led by Christine Johnson, assistant superintendent of schools, a screening and interview committee has been weeding through applicants to present to Gobron for finalists for the position.

"We are in the process, and a screening committee has selected several educators for interviews this week," said Gobron, "and members are meeting candidates for my consideration. We'll then have those candidates, or candidate, come in and spend a day at Peaslee for review. I am hopeful that I will have an appointment this month."
