Tell Me Why We Worry?

Thought and Poem

Thought and Poem

I used to be anxious about what I would have to do or what trials I might face in a new day. But then I smartened up and figured out that to be surprised about what will come my way was easier to face than when I caused things to happen because I was anxious and saw things in a negative light.

So now when I wake up each day...after I pray...I just put one foot in front of the other and go about my day.
I have always been a “glass half empty” type of person which clouded out my ability to see the “glass half full.” Why? Don’t know except maybe I can blame my upbringing? Even this excuse can get old as it only is good until you begin making your own decisions based on what you see rather than what you are told to do.

Tell Me Why We Worry?

Ever wonder what the new day will bring?
What you might learn from someone or something just by observing?
It doesn’t take much effort to know that there is so much about life that we don’t know...
It seems like some know the direction to take while others just go with the flow.

How often we wonder if we will make mistakes…
Or if we have what it will take…
To take each moment as they come…
And endure our trials until all battles are won.

So must we worry about what a new day will bring?
Whether we might fail at something?
Rather would we fair better looking for the positive in what we see around us?
That we may see things in a different light...so that we may never to give up?
