Thought and Poem – September 2, 2014
Who of us don’t want to wake up tomorrow morning…in general…putting all our worries, and anxieties aside? Even when we don’t know what tomorrow will bring…most of us will raise our hand on this one. I have both of mine up!
Even if we have all our “To Do” lists written and ready for us to check off as we do them the next day, our days may not follow our itinerary. Things come up unexpectedly and there is a chance that we never accomplish everything we wish we could have. It seems all we do is worry, prepared or not!

Then when we think about our tomorrows we wonder what they will bring. I don’t know about you, but I just wish my “tomorrows” would read my “To Do” list because I for one do NOT like surprises! I am one of those kinds of people that like to have a plan, check off the things needing to be done as I do them and then at the end of the day have a sense of accomplishment knowing I did not allow distractions to interrupt my plans. I know…I know…I must be dreaming. But…if this is how our tomorrows can go…DON’T WAKE ME UP!
What about you? How do you plan for your tomorrows? Do you have a “To Do” list too? Share your thoughts with us…Jeanne Claire Probst

Tomorrows…
Tomorrow seems so far away
And yesterday seems so long ago
Felt like I always knew where I wanted to go
But after yesterday...well...now I just don’t know.
I thought I knew
Everything I would do
But along came something “new,”
Now I am confused.
Can I take two roads as I move ahead in my life?
Does there always have to be a wrong or a right?
Does it really matter when I get to where I am going?
Do I really have to always know what my tomorrows will be sowing?
Well…I guess if we knew the answers…there would never be questions…
We would never know if we grew and we would never learn to be patient…
Our eyes would never take in...Our hearts would never expand…
And we could never move on from our yesterday and or be excited about what tomorrow has planned.
