Thought and Poem – September 16, 2014
Who is there among us that would not want to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed? No pressures… No stresses… No butterflies in our stomachs… No need for pills to reduce anxieties… No need for any medications to find relief; no dreaming…wouldn’t you want to wake up to a day like this?
I don’t think any of us are delusional or miracles workers but these conditions are what many of us want for everyone. And, even though we might not be able to take away all these woes ourselves, how much more enjoyable could life be “if” we were to show love instead of hate?

I don’t know about you, but I have had many days where I have found this love and I can tell you that it certainly makes living the day more enjoyable, even when we still have to endure the consequences of our actions or if we have to endure the personal pains we feel because of illnesses or diseases.
There have been “walks” for peace, “prayers” for peace, “marches” for peace, “wishes” for peace, and many other ideas that people hope will accomplish peace. Some of these actions make us feel good because we are doing something about our “wants” for peace. What if we could have this peace if we were all conscious of the way we speak to one another and how we treat one another? What if we put our “love” into action? Many will agree that if we all showed true love to one another it could produce the desires we all would want to wake up to in the morning.

What about you? What can you do to help show this true love today that can open the way for those around you to have a better day, including yourself? Share your thoughts with us…Jeanne Claire Probst
“What if,” You Say?
What if you could make a difference you say?
What if you could help someone have a better day?
What if you could share a meal with someone who hungers?
What if you could be forgiving to one another?
What if you could open your arms?
What if you could lay down your firearms?
What if those in pain or those who have diseases could be freed from their trials and woes?
What if evil could be avoided and nowhere on earth would there be anyone who opposed those being good, only kindness wherever we go?
“What if,” you keep saying, but what about this don’t people understand?
“What if,” we all believed things can happen when people work together and make positive changes… so why not give trying a chance?
“What if,” we could love each other and never hate again?
Well listen up and hear what I think, “What if” should be turned around to say: “YES We CAN!”
