Three Hang On for Algonquin In Holiday Wrestling Tournament
The Tomahawks come out number 15 of 22 in this past week's tournament.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Algonquin's wrestling team competed in the annual Holiday Wrestling Tournament at Framingham High School.
After the first day, Zach Marcoulier (138) and James Officer (285) were 2-0 and several other wrestlers were still in the tournament with just one loss. Friday morning wrestling knocked out most of the wrestlers, except Marcoulier, Officer and Chris Steidler (126).
The tournament ended with Zach Marcoulier placing secon, James Officer placing second and Chris Steidler placing eighth.
