NEF launched their 15-month Chromebook for Classrooms campaign in between trivia rounds and more than $8,000 was raised in a live auction style effort. The campaign was introduced with a special video created by Northborough students and staff. The goal of the campaign is to provide the Northborough school district with additional devices to allow greater access by all students and classrooms. This will also ensure that Northborough meets the technology literacy standards set by the state of Massachusetts. The goal is to fund the purchase of at least 200 Chromebooks by the end of the 2016-2017 school year.
More information about the Chromebook campaign including the video and about other upcoming NEF events can be found at www.northboroughed.org.
