Incidents, Thursday, July 18
5:19 a.m.: Medical call, Lyman Street
8:08 a.m.: Medical call, West Main Street
9:44 a.m.: Party in lobby reporting fraudulent activity on bank account, Wesson Terrace
12:23 p.m.: Medical call, South Street
12:43 p.m.: Two men attempting to pass counterfeit currency for money orders, West Main Street. Both in custody.
1:25 p.m.: Activated alarm, Southwest Cutoff
4:33 p.m.: Report of a multi-car MVA, no injuries reported, South Street
5:53 p.m.: Report of a car into the doorway, Main Street
Arrests:
July 18, 1:25 p.m.: Mitchell Chery, 24, 828 S. Ocean Ave., Freeport, NY, arrested and charged with uttering a counterfeit note, passing a counterfeit note, and conspiracy, West Main Street
July 18, 2:50 p.m.: Dodley P Louis, 24, 197 S Long Beach Ave., Freeport, NY, arrested and charged with possessing a counterfeit note, accessory before the fact (two counts), conspiracy and use of a MV in a felony
