Birth Story Slam is proud to present the 3rd Annual Birth Story Slam. The event will feature 10 personal, powerful, and educational stories of the real-life experience of childbirth. Storytellers will include mothers, children, partners, siblings, doulas, midwives, nurses, and obstetricians. Each story will be delivered live in front of an audience in 5 minutes or less. At the end of the slam, the audience will select a winning story.

The 3rd Annual Birth Story Slam will be held on April 26th, from 6pm to 8pm at Wonder Bar (186 Harvard Avenue, Allston, MA). Audience members will also have the chance to enter a raffle and win prizes. Tickets are available for purchase prior to the event for $12 at http://birthstoryslam.eventbrite.com/ or for $15 at the door on the day of the event.
Birth Story Slam is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to refocus the reproductive discourse on experience, rather than politics. Since 2013, Birth Story Slam has planned and presented an annual story slam in the Boston area, with each event featuring voices from our community.
