Anniversary of the Brinks Robbery
The Brinks Garage is home to one of the biggest FBI investigations in U.S. history.

A group of armed gunmen pulled off what was, at the time, the biggest robbery in the U.S., stealing millions from the Brinks Building on Prince Street the night of Jan. 17. 1950, according to celebrateboston.com.
They cased the building for more than a month, and wore masks and hats to hold up five Brinks employees. "The great Brinks Robbery or Brinks Job is one of the FBI's most famous cases. The robbers were later captured, but most of the money was never recovered. The robbery was the largest in U.S. history until that time, and was considered the Crime of the Century."
