The Art to Dream Tour Takes to Deep Waters with Live Art Installation on The Odyssey Benefitting the Room to Dream Foundation

Six-Stop Boston Art Tour Sponsored by Deep Eddy Vodka Showcases Local Artist, Keith MacLelland and His Hero Cowboy Art Work

The Odyssey is calling aboard all art loving, gun-slinging, cocktail sipping passengers as the Boston Harbor cruise ship proudly hosts one of the Art to Dream Tour’s live art installation events benefiting the Room to Dream Foundation on Monday, May 4th.

The inaugural Art to Dream Tour is featuring six of the Boston-area’s most renowned artistic talents at six of the city’s most coveted urban venues. Each venue is hosting a live art installation where guests will have the unique opportunity to watch these artists work their magic and create a masterpiece right before their eyes to be unveiled and auctioned off at the tour’s culminating event on May 27th at the Boston Center for Adult Education.

Keith MacLelland is an internationally acclaimed artist for his contemporary hero cowboy artworks inspired by Hollywood’s heroic singing cowboys of the 1950’s. Conic influences for MacLelland’s pieces vary from Kachina dolls and Luche Libre, to the Tournament of Roses Parade, Mardi Gras, He-Man, GI Joe and the Banana Splits, as well WWF stars of the late 1980’s such as Hulk Hogan, The Iron Sheik, Mr. T, and Bam Bam Bigelow. On May 4th, Art to Dream Tour guests will be invited aboard the Odyssey to see one of MacLelland’s powerful, robust, and monstrous heroes come to life as it prepares to battle modern day enemies like the Boston Marathon bombers, school shooters and violent offenders.
