Boston Man Arrested in Connection with North End Assault

Authorities arrested a Boston man Monday in connection with a sexual assault incident last month in Boston's North End, WCVB reported. 

The incident occurred around 1:11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 in the area of Salem and Sheafe streets, when officers from District A-1 responded to a report of sexual assault in the area of Unity Street in the North End. 

Police subsequently sought help from the public in identifying an individual seen in a surveillance video they believe was connected to the incident. It was the victim, however, who reportedly spotted the attacker Monday night, according to WCVB. 

The name of the man arrested was not immediately available, and police have not confirmed if the man in the video is the same man as the one arrested Monday, according to the report.
