Boston Police Investigating Sexual Assault in North End
The incident occurred around 10:30 on Sunday night.
Boston Police are investigating a sexual assault that took place Sunday night in the area of Salem and Hull streets in Boston's North End.
Police responded to the report of indecent assault around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, and upon arrival detectives spoke with a woman who said that a man approached her from behind and indecently assaulted her as she was trying to enter her apartment foyer, Boston Police said.
The woman described the man as being a white man in his 30s, with a height between 5-foot, 10-inches and 6-feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds and having short brown or light brown hair. The man was reportedly wearing a dark-colored 3/4-length coat with a zipper and dark-colored jeans.
