Celebrate Christmas in July at the Seaport Hotel

Getting into the holiday spirit is just a state of mind! Come celebrate Christmas in July on TAMO Terrace on Tuesday, July 21st from 6-8pm to benefit Christmas in the City (CITC)!

The Seaport Hotel will provide delicious small bites, a cash bar, and all of the charm of a winter wonderland on a beautiful summer night! 100% of money raised from this event will go to purchasing toys for Christmas in the City, including ticket sales. Guests who bring one new toy with them will receive two raffle tickets for the chance to win some fabulous items.

Christmas in the City (http://www.christmasinthecity.org), a 100% volunteer organization, will hold its 27th Annual Holiday Party this December and is expecting to serve thousands more children this year—so they need more support than ever to meet the need. 5,000 children living in shelters, hotels or transitional housing will attend the celebration with their Mom or guardian. The following day, Christmas in the City will give out toys and clothing, serving 16,000 more children whose families have fallen on hard times and otherwise might find nothing under the tree.

The Seaport Hotel will once again serve as a toy drop-off location this winter for CITC.

Christmas in the City

Christmas in the City serves up a winter wonderland experience, complete with lunch, pony rides, free dental check-ups, haircuts, amusement park bouncy slides, entertainment from choirs and dancers and pictures with Santa to thousands of children and their moms or guardians who are living in homeless shelters or transitional housing. They also help families in need in the days after the event itself, leading up to and including Christmas Eve. Each child receives a gift from their wish list, with a label letting them know it was selected especially for them by Santa (with a little help from Christmas in the City’s generous donors).
