Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Offers Education Studio Drop-In Art Activities

Event hosted by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on February 27 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Visitors of all ages are invited to explore the creative process every Saturday. Art making activities are designed for ages 7 and up and visitors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, click here or call 617-278-5156.

Studio activities are generously sponsored by Linda N. Cabot and Ed Anderson. The Polly Thayer Starr Artist Series is made possible by the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust. Polly Thayer Starr (1904-2006) was an accomplished artist who captured the culture and whimsy of her native Boston with a unique combination of detail, emotion, and curiosity. For more, visit the Polly Thayer Starr Charitable Trust online here.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - a work of art in totality - is a highly personal installation of Isabella Gardner’s collection, intended to fire the imagination of all who visit. Modeled after a Venetian palazzo, the galleries surround a verdant Courtyard and are home to masters such as Rembrandt, Raphael, Titian, Michelangelo, Whistler, and Sargent. The new Renzo Piano-designed wing provides an innovative venue for contemporary artists, musicians, and scholars.
